ACLS and PALS

ACLS and PALS classes are held the last Tuesday of each month.

Costs
Materials
- ACLS Materials: $28.50
- PALS Materials: $35.00
Books for the classes are available for purchase or you my use a book on the day of the class and return it immediately after the class.
ACLS and PALS Certification
- Re-Certification: $71.50
- New Certification: $132.00
Certifications are mandatory. After completing one of the Specialty Staff sponsored classes you will have the option to receive your certification/recertification card after you have worked 72 hours from the date of your successfully completed class or you can pay the cost of the class listed above.
How To Sign Up
If you are interested in taking a class, all you need to do is call and schedule your class in advance, and attend on the date and time you scheduled. If you are unable to keep a scheduled class, please call and cancel to allow another team member the opportunity to attend the class and as a courtesy to the instructor.
To enroll in a class contact a member of the Specialty Staff team at (317) 324-6066. When calling please specify the date, class, and if you are a new certification or a recertification.
CPR Certification
How To Sign Up
To enroll in CPR certification/recertification classes contact either Captain Joe Griffith pager (317) 761-6409 or Carmel Fire Department at (317) 571-2600.
Costs
Cost for the CPR class varies by instructor and are payable to the instructor at the time of the class.
You may also contact your local Fire Department or the American Heart Association. CPR classes are at the expense of the Health Care Professional.
